Engineer, OT Infrastructure

The OT Infrastructure Engineer is the resident expert for all matters related to OT platform technical management and support. The OT Infrastructure Engineer provides expert level direction, design, guidance, and management in all areas of OT Infrastructure hardware & software, security, networking, and applications for the West Region (TX/AZ/CA). The OT Infrastructure Engineer is considered an expert in NERC technical configuration, support, technical design, deployment, support, remediation, and trouble shooting.


  • Provide expert level design in all aspects of OT, including Networks, Servers, Storage, NERC processes with full documentation
  • Ability to understand the SCADA communications and some knowledge of Smart Grid technology/ADMS/OMS .
  • Develop standards for the optimal usage and operation, and roadmap of OT
  • Provides expert input, guidance, and collaboration for OT architecture
  • Resident Expert Troubleshooting/Repairs (L2/L3 support) for OT enterprise portfolio, Security Reviews and Escalations for networks, servers, storage, applications, NERC CIP
  • Complex Performance troubleshooting for all OT/NERC platforms
  • Author root cause analysis reports  and recommendations/plan for platform optimizations, and root cause mitigation/eradication
  • Backup and Recovery Plans and Testing , DR plans and testing, and remediation of any OT  technical issues
  • Vulnerability assessment, CVE assessment, Patching and Updating , and remediation of any issues
  • Compliance and Audit
  • All aspects of OT platform
  • Responsible for OT documentation and standards
  • Rotational on Call Support
  • Escalation point of contact for certain OT issues
  • Configure Monitoring Software and Alert Mechanisms
  • Travel up to 25% Required 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineer or Transmission Engineer or equivalent experience required
  • Engineering designation; SCADA certification such as  GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID), or GIAC GCIP or related experience
  • CCSP/CCIP/CCNP (Routing & Switching) CCDP/ MSCE Certification Preferred 
  • Mastery of specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organizational practice or expertise across several different disciplines within a function or several different job areas across function #LI-RJ


Salary $86,805- $130,207 DOE
