Purpose

In this role as a Map & Records Coordinator you will work under general supervision, where you will perform all aspects of planning and completion of records management.

Accountabilities

  • Scan and index easement records.
  • Fulfill internal and external customer requests.
  • Manage and maintain record management system.
  • Provide mapping support during major events.
  • Assist ROW/Easement Team in:
    • Interacting with engineering, property owners, banks, cities/towns, and attorneys as required in creating and executing easements.
    • Securing property rights on privately owned properties to ensure that Liberty South is able to access and maintain equipment to provide service to customers.
    • Managing the electronic file system, maintaining hard copies of original signed documents and records documents at Registry of Deeds.

Education and Experience

  • Experience in Title Examination and Real Estate Closings is a plus.
  • Experience with Record Management Systems is a plus.
  • Able to respond off hours for planned or emergency overtime is required
  • Ability to undertake technical work, requiring a limited amount of technical guidance and supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access is a plus.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work within a team environment and to interact effectively with all Company personnel.
  • Ability to handle contacts with other districts and departments in connection with job duties.  #LI-MC1   #LI-MC1
