Purpose

Responsible for investigating problems with different types of motor vehicles and making repairs accordingly. Carry out wide range of duties from routine care to specialized repairs, while promoting maximum functionality for company vehicles for Liberty Central.

  • Have or be able to learn a broad spectrum of tasks and job duties required of this position.
  • Ability to expertly represent the company and the company brand while working with customers and employees.
  • Capable of working on a team and within a team environment.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines.
  • Ability to progress to 1st Class Automotive/Hydraulic Mechanic.
  • Ability for heavy lifting.
  • Use hydraulic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Must have or be able to acquire a CDL Class A license.
  • Work experience in shop/repair center (dealerships, independent repair shop, or fleet maintenance shop) is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle on-board computer systems, factory manuals and schematics to diagnosis and repair related problems.
  • Time management skills and experience.
  • Must live within the vicinity of work location.
