OT Network Analyst Co-op

Purpose

This role will be responsible for Network build and deploy within OT infrastructure and to provide support for Liberty Power and Liberty Utilities projects.

Accountabilities

  • Hands-on Networking topology and configurations of VPN devices, Cellular modems, build and deploy network routers and switches as per Standard specification and OT Infrastructure guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide root cause analysis of Networking – Cisco routers, switches
  • Participate in daily scrums
  • Support Triaging the incidents and provide resolutions
  • Follow ITIL / ITSM processes as required
  • Follow OT Team compliance and governance
  • Provide support to audit and compliance report preparations
  • Provide support to requirement analysis of the network

Education and Experience

  • 3rd to 4th year student currently enrolled in a college or university with a focus on Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent program.
  • Must have strong understanding of fundamental power flow, inverters and transmission line designs 
  • Python scripting skills is an asset
  • CISCO, CCNA or equivalent certification is an asset
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • This is a 8 month co-op (May to December 2023)
