Purpose

The role of the Senior Endpoint Analyst is to provide coordination and support for the design, build, configuration, execution, deployment, and security of the organization’s user endpoints(includes but not limited to PCs, user virtual machines and mobile computing devices).  As part of this role the individual will Design, Build, Test and Deploy endpoint configurations as well as organize and participate in packaging desktop applications for deployment. This role will be continuously working to define and enhance existing standards and practices pertaining to endpoint management. In addition, the Senior Endpoint Analyst will coordinate the install and auditing of endpoint patches as well as licensing audits through advanced software discovery and metering tools. The Senior Endpoint Analyst will also engage in problem management and escalation support from sources including but not limited to Desktop Analysts and Service Delivery Staff.  As a member of the CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team), the Senior Endpoint Analyst will provide proactive and reactive support services in contribution to the maintenance of the security of the organization’s user endpoint devices.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinate staff activities with guidance from Supervisor and provide mentoring to junior staff
  • Participate in the design of the architecture of management tools for user endpoints
  • Primary contact point between Infrastructure services and Endpoint services teams
  • Design, build, configure, execute endpoint configurations (PCs, Mobiles devices, User Virtual Machines etc)
  • Create and maintain endpoint configuration standards, procedures, and checklists
  • Coordinate maintenance and enhancement of endpoint management applications/systems (SCCM, Intune, AD etc) with IT Infrastructure resources
  • Analyze, test and deploy approved applications using endpoint management applications/systems (SCCM/Intune)
  • Design, document, and maintain endpoint application lifecycle within the approved endpoint configurations/platforms
  • Coordinate with Enterprise application owners to document and test ongoing compatibility with endpoint standards
  • Assist in the maintenance, configuration and updating of enterprise endpoint security software/tools used in endpoint hardening
  • Assist in Cyber Security Incident Response
  • Coordinate testing and deployment of patches/updates to endpoints and associated standard applications (Micorosft, Adobe, Java etc)
  • Provide escalation support for Endpoint Analysts
  • Perform knowledge transfers to Endpoint Analysts and Service Desk staff

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferred college or professional higher education program
  • 5-10 years of direct experience
  • Knowledge with ITIL, SCCM, Intune, Powershell scripting, and O365
  • Willingness to travel as needed  #LI-RJ#LI-RJ
