Purpose

Responsible for performing construction and maintenance activities on transmission and distribution systems and facilities as applicable. Performs such work in accordance with Company, regulatory and safety procedures. This position will work alongside a Construction and Maintenance Tech 2 and Crew Lead to learn and perform activities of a Construction and Maintenance Tech 2.

Accountabilities

All Apprentice C&M Tech Responsibilities - Minimum 6 months apprenticeship with prior experience. Main focus will be training & OQ's

Training & Certification to do Plastic fusion

Must obtain Competent Person Certification

Will perform Line Locate - Reads maps, locates underground natural gas lines, operates combustible natural gas indicators and flame ionization units

Education and Experience

Highschool or GED Equivalent
