Purpose
As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving employee engagement, fostering a positive workplace culture, and aligning HR practices with business goals. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will provide hands-on support in policy implementation, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and organizational development, ensuring a seamless and people-centric experience for employees at all levels.
Acting as a champion for employee engagement and a change agent, you will build strong relationships across the organization, offering coaching, guidance, and data-driven solutions that empower leaders and team members. With a deep understanding of business strategy, this role helps shape HR initiatives that drive performance, support company objectives, and create a thriving, inclusive work environment.

Accountabilities
- Act as a trusted coach and advisor to department leaders, providing strategic HR support
- Serve as an escalation point for employee relations issues, conducting investigations, providing guidance, and ensuring fair, consistent resolutions within company policies and legal regulations
- Contribute to engagement survey action planning, succession planning, workforce planning, and organizational change management to drive a positive workplace culture
- Support the implementation of new HR programs and initiatives, ensuring smooth execution at the local level
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment, selection, and offer processes
- Administer salary programs to maintain compliance, fairness, and internal equity
- Collaborate with the HR Employee Services team to ensure seamless new hire onboarding, including background checks, I-9 verification, and post-offer drug testing in compliance with federal and state laws
- Assist in communicating compensation programs, merit increases, bonus structures, and incentive plans
- Support the performance review process, ensuring it remains effective, equitable, and compliant across the organization
- Take on additional responsibilities as requested by leadership to support HR and business priorities
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations, engagement, and operational support
- Proven ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic and evolving environment, demonstrating agility and resilience in times of change
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to approach challenges with empathy, flexibility, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Experience providing HR guidance and support to leaders and employees, ensuring alignment between people strategies and business objectives

Compensation
Expected pay: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
*Liberty considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, training and skills, and geographic location. Base pay for this role is expected to fall within the min to mid-point.
