Master Data Analyst, Supply Chain - SAP

Purpose

 

The SAP Supply Chain analyst will have working knowledge of SAP core inventory management and procurement applications within SAP. The individual will be responsible to encourage and persuade the change process in co-ordination with the new standard operating procedures for the SCM functions. The individual will be able to evaluate and document inefficiencies these may be change management, processes, or standard procedures that relate to  core inventory management and procurement business roles or to interface with other functions of the business. This role will work with the implementation team and support the transformation team and the business on supply chain management items. (Procurement and inventory management). 

Accountabilities

 

  • Demonstrate understanding of core inventory management/procurement functions  with SAP.
  • Introduce and familiarize the business with SAP concepts.
  • Encourage collaboration across functions (EAM, CIS) and across business units.
  • Understand and familiarize the business with SCM data requirements.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of  standard operating procedures for diverse business process.
  • Monitor and assess master data to identify risks and challenges.
  • Evaluate and document process gaps.
  • Demonstrate an understand of Ariba, Ariba Guided buying and how Ariba interfaces with SAP
  • Demonstrate an understanding of EWM, warehouse management systems along with data capturing applications. (barcoding technology)
  • Demonstrate and understand Workorder process related to SCM requirements.                    
  • Persuade participation and encourage feedback on processes being deployed.

Education and Experience

 

  • Supply Chain/Procurement certificate completion or enrollment is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands on SAP experience related to MM modules.
