Liberty’s Rates & Regulatory Affairs Department consists of a robust team of professionals that are responsible for executing the regulatory strategy, engaging with state regulators and other key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory commitments. Liberty’s regulatory structure consists of local regulatory teams in each of its jurisdictions and corporate shared services support.
The Regulatory team is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of various regulatory and compliance filings. Most notably, Regulatory is intimately involved in the preparation and execution of rate making proceedings, which requires an understanding of utility accounting and rate making principles.
Stakeholder Engagement
As a senior member of the Stakeholder Engagement team, you will be responsible for establishing and fostering relationships with regulators and other key stakeholders to advance the company’s interests and initiatives. This requires a good understanding of utility regulation and the regulatory landscape.
Corporate Services
The corporate regulatory team is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s regulatory strategy, provides support to the local regulatory teams on rate case filings, oversees the corporate cost allocation methodology, and is involved in aspects of the company’s acquisition of new utilities.
