Talent Acquisition Manager

An opportunity to join a growing dynamic team driven to source, attract and engage diverse top talent across North American. This role will work closely with the business to build hiring strategies, drive marketing campaigns and engage and source top talent.


  • Responsible for supporting the full lifecycle recruiting needs in North America.
  • Partner closely with leadership to deeply understand their teams and hiring needs while making hiring recommendations, support events, and build strategies to hire amazing people.
  • Project management to create Global marketing campaigns and hiring strategies to identify talent for niche roles.
  • Build, recommend, and implement strategies to seek problems and build pipelines through sourcing, referrals, research, and events.
  • Identify new ways to build awareness of Algonquin/Liberty in the hiring markets
  • Track pipeline data and provide relevant updates to partners on all roles/projects supported
  • Establish local community relationships to increase brand awareness and give back our expertise

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of direct experience in full lifecycle recruiting including job analysis, sourcing, qualifying, interviewing and negotiating salary packages
  • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including Boolean and deep-dive research.
  • Experience in project management and strategy planning.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in behavioural/situational interviewing techniques, particularly at the senior/complex level
  • ATS Experience, Success Factor preferred MS Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong sense of urgency; results and action-oriented; a track record of execution
  • Experiencing leading and prioritizing multiple strategic searches, projects and client relationships
  • Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with little direct supervision
