Procurement Coordinator Co-op

Purpose

This Procurement Coordinator Co-op position will be mainly tasked with procurement responsibilities and may also be asked to assist other Business Development project teams.

Accountabilities

  • Administration and up-keep of the Supplier Vendor List.
  • Conduct industry research on equipment manufacturers, pricing trends, evolving Renewables landscape.
  • Assist on the creation of key equipment (OEM) and EPC lists.
  • Work with our software applications (Echosign, Paramount, etc.) to assist in the development/progression of Procurement files.
  • Assist project teams, when deemed necessary.

Education and Experience

  • 1st to 3rd year student within a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Business Administration is preferred.
  • Strong MS Office experience, specifically strong Excel skills
  • Interest in the renewable generation sector
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the confidence to question current processes
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and team-building skills with ability to work independently and handle priorities
