Energy Services Coordinator Co-op

Purpose

 

This position is responsible for providing energy market coordination and project support to a wide range of Liberty's renewable energy assets across North America.

 

Accountabilities

  • Energy Market Coordination / Filings, including:
  • ensuring necessary filings to RTO/ISO as assigned are made on time
  • maintaining distribution lists for RTO/ISO
  • providing support to the origination team with arranging meetings, preparing meeting materials, etc.
  • organizing and track completion of tasks per contract commitments
  • Contract Coordination, including coordination of electronic filings and legal reviews of confirmations as required
  • Ensure that routine monthly asset reports are prepared, reviewed and filed on time per contract requirements
  • Provide supporting documentation including approval memos, exception reporting, broker confirmation and / or counterparty confirmations
  • Other duties as assigned to support the energy market team and projects


Education and Experience

  • 2nd or 3rd year student currently enrolled in a College or University with a focus on Business, Economics or equivalent program
  • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office Programs: Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently and manage priorities
