Assist in verifying, matching and inputting accounts payable data for the purpose of assuring proper recording and paying of all appropriate Company bills.

Accountabilities

  • Participate as a member of the accounting team to assure complete and accurate information is gathered and recorded.
  • Develop a working relationship with other Company personnel in assisting with the accumulation, processing and recording accounts payable information in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist in the coordination of proper payment of all appropriate Company bills.
  • Maintain corporate records in compliance with PSC, FERC, IRS and Company requirements.
  • Assist accountant(s) and the Manager(s), Accounting, and complete tasks/reports as needed to contribute to the success of the department.
  • Pays keen attention to all particulars of a given task or assignment.
  • Can organize thoughts and ideas and effectively express them orally or in writing.
  • Understands personal computers, operating systems, software applications and can effectively use word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • An excellent numerical reasoning ability is required. #LI-MC1
